I’m CoCo, and this journey began with my grandmother.

As a child, I would watch in fascination as she performed her weekly ritual. After a long, soothing soak, she’d take her well-loved exfoliating cloth and begin massaging her skin in slow, circular motions. What appeared weren’t streaks of dirt, but tiny, silvery rolls of dead skin. When she finished, her skin underwent a remarkable transformation – it emerged luminous, impossibly soft, and vibrantly alive.

She would see my wonder and explain, “This is how we wash away the week’s weariness. We shed the old to make way for the new.” This was more than cleaning; it was a philosophy of renewal woven deep into our culture.

When I later moved to America, I brought my grandmother’s cloth and this cherished ritual with me. Yet when I shared it with friends, I encountered puzzled looks. Nothing available offered that same profound sense of cleansing, renewal, and tangible glow.
